Avatar
I had to create an avatar. I chose one of my senior pictures that I liked a lot. I liked the colors and just the picture as a whole. I had three layers on top of my picture to make this: a white layer, a line layer, and a color layer. While making this avatar, I used the felt pen to draw the outline of my body. I then used the circle brush to draw the rest of the lines, I used various sizes of all the circle brushes. To color in the grass, my shirt, my face, the fence, and the background I outline what I wanted to color then used the bucket fill tool to do it easily. I then used the airbrush tool to make my shirt look lighter and airy like in the actual picture. I put different colors of green on top of the background and then used the smudge tool to make it look textured. I used the vine tool over the green that I painted for the grass to make a textured, more realistic grass look. In the end, my avatar still looks very cartoon-ish, which I love. It's very fun and I love to see the outcome of avatar projects.
