Chip on Your Shoulder
Idiom
This project was to illustrate an idiom. An idiom is a phrase that is said but does not really mean what is said. The idiom I chose was a "chip on your shoulder." This does not literally mean that there is a physical chip on your shoulder, it really means to hold a grudge or be upset about something in the past. The girls annoyed face and the chip on her shoulder are what it seems like it might mean, but the explanation tells you differently. I cut out the picture of the girl and the the potato chip first. Then, I opened up a new document and made the background blue and put the girl on her own separate layer. I then put the chip on another separate layer then combine them. Then I made one text box for "Chip on Your Shoulder" and another for the explanation.
