Country Notes
Magazine Cover
It was easy for me to pick who I wanted on my cover of my magazine: Luke Bryan. He is really big in country music right now and I absolutely love his music. I did a country music theme for my magazine, because there aren't that many, and because I love to listen to country music. I used colors from his jeans and his shirt to write subtitles. I placed the title behind him because I wanted him to be the main focus of the cover, and he is in the center for that same reason. My title is Country Notes because music has notes in it, and the magazine is about country music and what's going on behind the scenes, which are kind of like little notes for everyone to read. My article subtitle spoofs are about popular people in the country music business right now. In order to make this, I had to cut out Luke Bryan from the original picture. I then opened up a blank document and made the background green. I placed him on his own layer on top of the green background and centered him on the cover. I then made separate text boxes for all of the subtitle spoofs.
