Callum's Avatar
I had some free time during class and I wanted to work on some of the stuff I had learned, so I decided to use a picture I had of Callum to make an avatar. I didn't match it perfectly to the actual picture, but I used the same color scheme and used most of the same colors. I just didn't put in all the little details, like the pattern on his shirt. The background is purple because once I was done I asked him what color he wanted the background to be, and he said purple. There were three layers on top of the original picture - the white layer (which ended up being turned into purple), the line layer, and the color layer. This picture ended up looking very realistic. It was different from most of the other avatars I had worked on, because I usually go for a cartoon look.

Sam and McKenna
This picture was taken by my mom when she was doing senior pictures in the beginning of my senior year. We were in Kalamazoo at a little park. I really like the original picture of this and I like how this turned out. It was fun to make and didn't take long and the end I just put a gray background because I didn't want there to be a distracting background of trees and a fence. I matched a lot of the colors and tried to make it fairly realistic. There weren't much details besides the faces, the shirts were plain and the jeans are plain too. In the end, I really like how this turned out. Just like the avatar of Callum above, I used three layers on top of my original picture - the white layer (gray), the line layer, and the color layer. I used different sizes of the circle paintbrush for the lines, and I used different colors. I made the lines a little darker than the color of what they were touching. The outline of Sam and I was with the felt pen. It looks fairly thick on here, but it helps to bring us out in the picture.

Callum and Mila: Red Carpet
While in this class, I started to get creative. One day, I thought I should make another funny hoax. Since Callum sits next to me I decided to use the picture of Callum from earlier in the school year and put him on the red carpet with a celebrity and who better than Mila Kunis? Callum sits next to me in class so we searched for a picture of Mila online. We found one that would work for what we were doing and we saved it. Then we searched for a red carpet with no one on it so we could put them on it. Then I opened Mila Kunis's picture and erased everything around her. Then I positioned her on the picture of the red carpet by copying the picture of just her. Then I erased everything around Callum and copy and pasted that onto the red carpet. I had to touch some areas up where Mila's left hand was on top of Callum and where Callum's shoe was popping out from under Mila's dress. Then it looked like they were standing next to each other on the red carpet.
